Link to the source is outdated which makes the build of the package fail: https://deb.debian.org/debian/pool/main/g/gnome-session/gnome-session_45.0-1.debian.tar.xz

There is another / newer one: https://deb.debian.org/debian/pool/main/g/gnome-session/gnome-session_45.0-2.debian.tar.xz

The Package on Debian seems to be a new one... https://deb.debian.org/debian/pool/main/g/gnome-session/gnome-session_3.38.0-4.debian.tar.xz The old one is missing and the PKGBUILD are not actual... The new Checksum is: 6884a6004ab10daa645285ede22ad8ab809e243d617cbb85712a1728fbcc7576

Thanks @jlp2!

Will work on upgrading the package. Seems I have some time now :)

Hesitant of what @ItachiSan? You can look around at all the packages I maintain or co-maintain. Of all the ones I am either a co-maintainer or have added others as co-maintainers I have yet to run into a problem collaborating with others. The git history provides quite a bit of accountability in that who did what is always evident and anything can be reverted. If my history in other packages doesn't speak for itself...

In my experience the "dark periods" come about starting like any other day, but one thing leads to another and my attention is elsewhere. It's in those times that having co-maintainers in place ahead of time helps because if I don't have time to bump packages I'm probably not in a position to add people either.

Hey @caleb, I appreciate the offer, however I am a bit hesitant.

In case of additional "dark periods" like recently happened, I will accept such offer though. :)

alerque commented on 2020-03-17 05:47 (UTC)

@ItachiSan Offer to help co-maintain this still stands. I often have to manually update my own fork and pass that around to my own systems, it would be nice to just help keep this fresh instead of having to fork.
