@eh8: Right, one would not want to have both installed at the same time. I suppose the conflict is probably for the best at least for now. That might save both developers from seeing useless bug reports--at least from here, anyway.

@yochananmarqos That is true, but having both extensions installed leads to certain instabilities.

For instance, this is what I saw when I tried to open blur-me settings with blur-my-shell installed.

The settings of extension blur-me@nunchucks had an error:
Error: Type name PrefsWidget is already registered

For the time being I think it is better to have users choose which fork to use for the sake of predictability and functionality.

While this extension and blur-my-shell do similar things, they technically do not conflict as they have no conflicting files.
