pkgver shouldn't contain any prefix like v, just the number. It's safe to remove it without bumping epoch, since 9 > v9.

Updated to v9 (latest release on Github). Works with current Gnome Shell from Arch Linux: 3.20.2

You're right. Actually, I wanted to name the package that way from the beginning, but unfortunately I forgot that. That's why this entry in the conflict list :)
How can I rename the package now? That is the question :)

I think this should be named gnome-shell-extension-no-title-bar-git since this is a VCS based package. Also, you have this same pkg named in the conflicts array, and I think "Provides" is unnecessary.
EDIT:
There's a mismatch between .SRCINFO and PKGBUILD.
