This issue is happening to me too, however I let it run for a little while and it stopped after a couple of minutes. Re-opening the program after that it is now working just fine. I don't know if this will persist after a reboot though.

@stabares thanks for that information - if it happens on wine also, that might be a hint that it is not related to this PKBBUILD. It could be worth filing a bug report upstream.

I also have the endless refresh problem. It also happens if I run the appimage directly. The weird thing is that it also happens with the windows version under wine.

I cannot currently reproduce this issue, but I do remember having something similar at some point (though not sure if this was even on Arch).
It should be easy to test if this is an issue with the Arch installation, you can just download the appimage file at https://pandanet-igs.com/communities/gopanda2, make it executable and run it.
If all else fails, when I had a similar issue, I worked around it by logging into IGS using q5go (also in the AUR).
By the way, I just updated to the latest version - not sure if that changes anything, though.

Whenever I launch this program, the page endlessly refreshes, making it impossible to do anything. Is this an issue with the Arch installation or the program in general?

Thanks for maintaining this package. 2.7.17 has been released. md5sum is 69cfff969ff0a3e451cdd600c002cd30. Please update the PKGBUILD.

@dakling No worries. Thanks for maintaining the package. It's sad that all go clients are problematic in some ways. I guess the game can't attract good devs.

Thanks for reporting - pushed a fix.
I guess the problem is that GoPanda updates always lead to a checksum fail, but since the GoPanda devs release all AppImages under the same URL, I am not sure what to do about that.
