What is the reason to just bump the package version again? This latest commit is from Aug 10, 2018 and builds without any changes done to the PKGBUILD.

As a representative of the Trusted Users, I'm telling you to stop doing that. It's a -git package, and users are expected to rebuild it at their own pace. Do not bump the pkgver on every upstream commit.

You should only bump the pkgver when something else changes, for example the dependencies, the url, the build/package functions, etc. At that time, you should include the latest pkgver.

I'm just trying to keep the package in current version.

Could you please refrain from just bumping the package version from one to another git commit?
