No build problem here. Do you have a libass.a from a previous build? It should be removed by the PKGBUILD, though.

I can't build this http://dpaste.com/664815/

* pkgver=4312: Added fribidi to dependencies

This PKGBUILD is really welcome for those having the reduced volume bug on DTS audio tracks.

pkgver=4106 * Amended dependencies and added "update-desktop-database -q" to the install file to silence namcap

You could build the package with options=(!strip) and the --debug configure switch added to the PKGBUILD and then run ghb inside gdb. That's how I discovered that mpeg2dec was causing the recent segfaulting problem (see earlier posts).

It is strange, but this package not work for me (segmentation fault after launch). Package from community work fine. What reason could provide this problem? Arch x86_64.

@Det, I've taken your suggestion on board. pkgrel=4044 * Added gstreamer plugins as optional dependencies for ghb * Removed the LDFLAGS substitution that served some long-forgotten and unnecessary purpose

Det commented on 2011-06-09 11:54 (UTC)

The gstreamer stuff should be defined in optional dependencies (for the Picture Settings preview): optdepends=('gstreamer0.10-base-plugins' 'gstreamer0.10-bad-plugins' 'gstreamer0.10-good-plugins' 'gstreamer0.10-ugly-plugins' 'gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg')
