@razesloth It also took me a little bit to figure it out. I had to re-select libmariadb.so for the library, change the path to my SSH private key and also change the SSH executable to /usr/bin/ssh. If that doesn't help I would advise you to try recreating your session as a new entry

With the latest update I am getting a pop up "Access violation" with ok and abort options. Ok makes it load indefinitely and abort closes the application. I am using a MySQL database and I imported the portable_settings.txt file.

The package now provides the native Linux version of HeidiSQL. It's currently in a beta state so expect bugs. See the known bugs at https://www.heidisql.com/forum.php?t=44068 and https://github.com/HeidiSQL/HeidiSQL/issues?q=state%3Aopen%20label%3A%22linux-native%22
To copy your settings:
Click on File > Import settings and select /home/username/.heidisql/portable_settings.txt (use CTRL+H in the file picker to show hidden directories)
There is also the old version available as heidisql-wine.
I might modify this soon to make it build from source and create a heidisql-bin package

The recent issues with crashing and having to change themes seems to be resolved with wine 9.22.

@D3SOX hello! Using PostgreSQL support leads to Error 126 - even creating manually all dll links inside .heidisql.
There is any know workarround?

I just upgraded this, and had the same issue that the session manager only came up a brief of a second and then instantly closed.
I removed all entries from .heidisql/portable_settings.txt but the Servers\ entries, then the session manager came up but it was still crashing on connect. So I had to change the Style-Theme like @Ovsyanka wrote.
Ovsyanka commented on 2024-10-17 15:40 (UTC)
I figured, that in my case heidisql doesn't work with the "Windows" style theme.
More -> Preferences -> Style Theme
All other themes I tried works. I still have some visual quirks though.

@gromez You can try backing up your settings using the old wine version then move the prefix folder (mv ~/.heidisql ~/.heidisql-old
) upgrade wine and import again

@D3SOX I can't even start HeidiSQL, I see the Session connections window but it instant closes.

@gromez After connecting I see an extra black window in my task manager but other than that it works fine for me. What problems did you experience?
