This is not needed for voikko. At one point this was, when Voikko was still in AUR. This is just an additional "dictionary" format that Voikko can support if the support is compiled in, which is not for the version that is in repos.

The build fails for me too.

The wiki says that I need this for voikko-libreoffice, but it seems to work just fine even without this. What exactly is this needed for?

Build fails with error checking for LIBXMLPP... no configure: error: libxml++ failed Installing libxml++2.6 instead of libxml++ allowed the package to build, so I suppose that dependency needs to be changed.

This has moved from sourceforge to github. New address in github: https://github.com/hfst/hfst-ospell However to get past the: curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found ==> ERROR: Failure while downloading http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/hfst/hfst/source/hfstospell-0.3.0.tar.gz Aborting... You need to change PKGBUILD file. Change these lines: pkgver=0.4.0 md5sums=('077d7175187fd50204586e4348e5b119') However the 0.4.0 is the last version to be in sourceforge. Github already has 0.4.1: https://github.com/hfst/hfst-ospell/releases/download/v0.4.1/hfstospell-0.4.1.tar.gz
