This package provides drivers for the following printers:

  • HP Color Laser 15x Series
  • HP Color Laser MFP 17x Series
  • HP LaserJet MFP M433
  • HP LaserJet MFP M436
  • HP LaserJet MFP M72625 72630
  • HP Laser10x Series
  • HP Laser MFP 13x Series

If you want to use the scanner, make sure that the smfp backend is listed in /etc/sane.d/dll.conf.

I wasn't able to install this package with the default ftp:// source URLs, but everything worked fine when I switched to the equivalent HTTP URLs starting with https://ftp.ext.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers!

Thanks for the package!

Here's a small improvement suggestion:

systemd-udevd[PID]: Configuration file /etc/udev/rules.d/48-smfp_hp.rules is marked executable. Please remove executable permission bits. Proceeding anyway.
