Sources are returning 404 HTTP error now.

"unknown public key" -> You don't trust the PGP key. That's normal.
PGP is used to verify, that the Sources downloaded by this PKGBUILD are from person who is mentioned via validpgpkeys in the PKBGUILD, and not someone elses.
Either you download the key of the software author somewhere and decide whether to trust a) the author b) that the key really belongs to that person, after all everybody can upload something somewhere on the web (the AUR is no exception to this btw.), or you can build with makepkg --skippgpcheck.
