I disowned this package, because I'm hesitant to delete it yet. But maybe that is what this package deserves...

I think it doesn't worth the time to try to understand how Intel packages their installation file. It is enough to just provide an AUR package handles files in directory /etc and let user install the Intel package manually.

oneAPI toolkits replaced Intel Parallel Studio XE recently, but I'm not yet sure what exactly to do.

Nvm, the patch contained an error :-) I also updated the default package format to .pkg.tar.zst, since with multiple threads ZSTD could actually be as fast as (or even faster than) LZO, and the compression rate is much higher. Since ZSTD has been the default for some time, I see no reason to linger on LZO.

OK, I did patch it (it would be appreciated if you read the PKGBUILD). But apparently the patch, it is not working anymore.

After the latest update, the zsh related problem with remove_duplicate_paths is back. Could you please patch it again with the previous workaround? Thank you!

Weird. Let me test on my machine. Did the checksum change or something?

It seems that parallel_studio_xe_2020_update2_cluster_edition.tgz changed under our feet? The download url changed.

@xuanruiqi: I don't know if it matters, but there are more places that contain the dubious shell construct in the packages. Might be a good idea to fix those too. You can find them with "grep -e '\${!' -r pkg".
