@RemoteAdmin: Oops, you're right! The reason why I thought it isn't there is, that my destkop environment (I use enlightenment) has a problem with the the Exec-line, which is in your file Exec="/bin/mps" %f, and in my file its Exec=/bin/mps.

Enlightenment seems it doesn't like that at won't show me the menu entry. I think it's best to report this to the enlightenment upstream rather than fixing it here.

Thanks for your quick reply, and applogize me for reporting a thing which was already there (I really didn't notice it, I just copied over pycharm-professional.desktop and modified it for mps, so it seems I'd overridden your original file without checking before if it's already there ;-) ...)

What is wrong with the current one at /usr/share/applications/jetbrains-mps.desktop?

It is specified in the PKGBUILD and my prebuild package at https://repo.itmettke.de/aur/aur-archlinux/x86_64/ contains it as well

Hi, thanks for creating the package!

I'm having one little "nice-to-have": Can you install a nice, corresponding .desktop file for mps? I've created jetbrains-mps.desktop in /usr/share/applications with the following content, and it works very well: https://gist.github.com/phorward/23be74fa96e687d60756ea6d12c1945f#file-jetbrains-mps-desktop
