That's not at all true. I get email notifications for the stuff I maintain and co-maintain. I react to them in a timely manner and have a track record of getting to AUR activities the moment I see them.

If you're referring to inactivity in this project before I had anything to do with it you had every opportunity to submit an orphan request and take over its maintenance since 2016. The maintainer has made commits to this package this very month (November 2023) so it's not abandoned either.

You've now submitted a second out-of-date request hasting me with the same details after I've just confirmed there are no build problems here. You didn't even try to build this yourself in regards to Cyan's comment two years ago as there's no problem.

I will be done committing the other Journey repos shortly. With this sudden flurry of activity on a package which you didn't even try to build yourself I don't think you're spamming us in good faith. Especially given it hasn't received a new release tag since 2017. Stop abusing the out-of-date flag system and kindly move on. Cheers.

Maintainer and comaintainer of this package have a history of ignoring comments for years. If a flag is what it takes to update that package, so be it.

Thanks for the same comment in three places and misusing the "Out of date" flagging system to get more attention. This is a package I've inherited. The spelling of licences is valid in some countries raising no flags on even my own locale. ~~I'll make those changes shortly.~~

It's done. I was able to compile just fine without experiencing the go comment below.

  • Licenses go in /usr/share/licenses (not "licences").
  • Guard path variables with quotes.
  • Address or respond to issue in previous comment

Doesn't work. It says it's missing a main module

go: cannot find main module, but found vendor/vendor.json in /home/cam/.cache/yay/journey-git/src/src/github.com/kabukky/journey to create a module there, run: go mod init
