@deemon that's not the latest commit when I click on the links here. The log shows commit dbbf3df as the second-to-latest, and the latest one is from September, a few months ago: 2eb6b1a. This one still points
url
to the non-existing gitlab repository, but thesource
is correctly fetching from github.deemon commented on 2023-12-19 11:47 (UTC) (edited on 2023-12-19 13:18 (UTC) by deemon)

@deemon you seem to be using and old PKGBUILD version. The latest version pulls from github and builds just fine. I don't think this package is out-of-date.

The website in the PKGBUILD still points to the old github repository that doesn't exist anymore. You might want to update it to the same repository as the source URL.

Builds without problems, thanks.

I reverted the source repo to Grumbel one, it appears to work on my host (Manjaro). @Roshless Let me know if it doesn't work with the new package

Alright, i'll try to see if I can find a maintained fork, otherwise we may be in position to push local sources somewhere public (gitlab/github) and get the package using it

I think the issue is there is no original source anymore. I'm getting 404 on both repo and org addresses, and can't build this package anymore.

It appears Grulbel is providing nixos support for jstest-gtk. I'm not aware of the scope of changes but afaik nix is using a different packaging system. Looking at the fork's commits, I cannot see any code update other than packaging, so I think we can consider this is still fine to use the original source.
