The package pulls in the renpy meta, so renpy-git or renpy6 should work for it.

It didn't when I approached it back when python2 lost support, I'm unsure if there were any updates. I haven't had the time to work on this in a WHILE

It seems renpy (v8) has been silently deleted from Arch repos without it being uploaded to AUR! :(

It was already based on Python 3, whereas this PKGBUILD uses a Python 2 library.

I'm not sure if it could work with Python 3, didn't check the game release tar yet.

The developers' website seems to have deleted the whole page for this game (404).

Link for tarball is broken in PKGBUILD. Updated link for tarball is https://dischan.co/files/JunipersKnot_en_1.0_lin.tar.bz2

It's all pushed. Give it a try.

Ok, so, I've got temporary fixes for everything, but it's slightly unclean. The script at /usr/bin automatically changes the directory to /usr/share/junipersknot and runs it. This is obviously undesirable, but you can't execute it from another directory.
