Nope, definitely no sudo needed. Do check that you're running Kemai (with uppercase K).

The development branch has a .desktop file so that should make it easier.

@virtulis Thank you for your quick reply. LOL, I just finished my reply when I saw your new message come in. After installing the qt6-tools and then build the package all went fine. No more errors and build is successful.

However the system cannot find the executable. I have to run it as sudo /usr/bin/Kemai or is that expected?

I think I got it, can you try installing qt6-tools? I'll update the PKGBUILD shortly.

Kind of odd that it fails on the qt6_add_translation because QT6 is installed. Any other info I can provide to help resolve this issue?

I update pkg to v0.10.0. tested on manjaro distro. https://github.com/icq4ever/kemai
