I updated the the source URL and the md5sum as well. If do you find an SSD which has newer FW on the manufacturer's website, let me know and I'll add that to the repo.

I'm the package and the tool maintainer in one person (not the developer). I downloaded the FW packages one by one back in years, this is why the missing fw files, but I'll take care of the rest soon. Thanks

Thanks a lot for this awesome app. I managed to update my SV300S37A/240G from 521 to 603. However, 2 newer firmwares are supposed to be available. The latest is 60AABBF0, released at 05/28/16. Do you know why this version is not available?

Worked it out - ran it as strace /opt/kfu/bin/kfu 2>&1 | grep open | grep -i ttf and turned out it was loading the Joypixels emoji font. Temporarily getting rid of that (mv /usr/share/fonts/joypixels/ /root/) did the trick.

Unfortunately the tool doesn't recognise a SandForce controller in firmware recovery mode though, so no firmware update for me :(

Any idea how to get the fonts to work? I've tried it on two machines and it opens a window with two tabs and a picture in the background but there's no text in the UI at all.

Ok, Vinibali thanks for your answer, I've been looking information and seems that is not possible update this firmware at least with Linux.

you drive is based on a Phison controller and not Sandforce. https://www.hardwaresecrets.com/kingston-a400-120-gib-ssd-review/
