Hi, would you consider hosting a repository with these packages? The kodi-devel-prebuilt repo mentioned on the wiki is no longer maintained.

@JDAturbo - You are correct, thanks. Fixed.

000-python3.8.patch does not apply correctly. I think it might not be needed any longer. It seems this issue was resolved in 19.0a2:

Builds and works fine (for alpha quality software of course) - opens movies, 5.1 sound works and so on. Of course lots of add-ons are incompatible

They released 18.7.1 formally which has no linux benefits (android platform). Try building that. I expect a pre18.8 patch to get queued up anytime.

This time it's kodi-wayland-devel fails. I believe that the whole log is too big, but of coure I can post it. And yes, as recommended I'm building with ccache, but it's clean — I ran ccache -c to ensure

@asm0dey - I could use the epoch= .. upstream adds and removes patches as well as redefines releases. I built this (just x11) without error. Which target (gbm, x11, or wayland) gave you that error? Further, you need to post the entire build log as errors typically occur 1,000s of lines above that. Also, are you building with ccache again?
