@graysky I built it with yay, like i always do with aur packages. Do i need to compile with some special flag?

@thepasto - Are you building in a clean chroot? Builds fine for me.

I wrote clean-chroot-manager to handle these types of tasks with one command.

Any fix? Thanks

@Niklas - What purpose does a versioned provision serve? You are welcome to modify before building.

Niklas commented on 2018-08-30 20:34

Could you modify the PKGBUILD so the resulting packages provide the specific version of Kodi (e.g. provides=("kodi=${pkgver}") )?

Build failed twice using -j 4, once on a dependency, second time on a compiler crash, best with no Jays...

@p-ew - Thanks, glad you are finding it of value.

@graysky: Thanks for this excellent package. More reliable than kodi-git.

@M-Reimer - Exactly, how are you building? See my comment from 2018-07-11 19:31.

I've missed this line in your code:

https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/t...elease#n98

So "fmt" should not be needed but somehow still is...

For some reason building Kodi 18 does not work at all...
