Hi, im on plasma-desktop (vanilla) + linux-zen + xorg + qt5+6 after updating (yay Syu) kvirc didnt come up

then i did manual yay -S kvirc-git and it rebuilt/compile again and it works perfect

now i get CTCP version-Antwort von X [~a@...]: KVIrc 5.2.2 git:5.2.2-13-gc2ae7a4d2 'Quasar' 20240410 - build 2024-04-13 22:20:41 UTC - Linux (6.8.5-zen1-1-zen)

Please kindly remove the KDE dependencies, and build this with Qt6, like Arch repo's kvirc.

There is no expectation for the pkgver (as specified in the PKGBUILD file) to be up-to-date for VCS packages. The pkgver() function, which runs when the package is built, takes care of that.

Why is this package flagged out of date?

I built it with Clean Chroot Manager and the package built and seems to be working ok. There were some warnings while compiling such as depreciated, redefined .. but that is in a lot of programs compiling.

Updated for openssl 1.1 usage. Upstream fixed this issue
