Final version of libexif-gtk 0.4.0 has been released upstream. This is the version 2 of this PKGBUILD. Few more bug fixes are included.

@Alister.Hood: I confirm those problems are not related to the new version of libexif-gtk. You can simply run gexif from a terminal and you'll notice that the help->about triggers a warning with the comment 'Implement!' and that the opening of a window without exif data triggers a warning with the comment 'No EXIF data found!'. gexif has been coded to stop when a warning is issued (which is quite annoying in fact). Note that I have a modified gexif version I have to finish. That version fixes those problems and others, but I need to finish and send it to the libexif guys.

Hi all, new version of libexif-gtk has been released upstream. That release is flagged as beta1 following upstream rules, but don't include any untested feature. Unless a major issue is found, final version will be release in a week. Remark: I have made the changes in that version and those changes have been validated and integrated upstream by the libexif team. Should you face any problem, please report directly to me as I'll be the one who will most probably fix them. ...but you wont's face any problem, right ;) Changes in that version include: - bug fixing - removal of deprecated symbols - allows build with both gtk2 & gtk3 (this release is still built with gtk2 only). Please rebuild gexif and/or gtkam if you use them. Cheers

base and base-devel groups are pre-requisite for any AUR package. pkg-config is part of base-devel -> not added in makedepends

pkg-config should be in makedepends array
