This package is currently unusable / unbuilable due to the __morecore and __after_morecore_hook malloc hooks and the default implementation __default_morecore having been removed from the glibc API. (https://github.com/libhugetlbfs/libhugetlbfs/issues/62)

@kido007 I updated the PKGBUILD to sed the Makefile only after it is generated in build(). Please let me know if that works or if there are still any problems.

I get the following:

-> Extracting libhugetlbfs-2.24.tar.gz with bsdtar

==> Starting prepare()...

sed: can't read Makefile: No such file or directory

==> ERROR: A failure occurred in prepare().

Aborting...

-> error making: libhugetlbfs-exit status 4

-> Failed to install the following packages. Manual intervention is required: libhugetlbfs - exit status 4

@adsun Could you pin a comment that this package is currently unusable / unbuilable do to the __morecore issue (https://github.com/libhugetlbfs/libhugetlbfs/issues/62) please?

@patlefort: There is a respective issue in regards to the __morecore build error on upstream:

https://github.com/libhugetlbfs/libhugetlbfs/issues/62

patlefort commented on 2022-07-03 19:12 (UTC)

Doesn't compile anymore since __morecore malloc hooks has been removed from glibc. There has been no word about this upstream yet.

WARNING: '/usr/lib/perl5/TLBC' contains data from at least 1 packages which will NOT be used by the installed perl interpreter. -> Run the following command to get a list of affected packages: pacman -Qqo '/usr/lib/perl5/TLBC'

I think perl -V:vendorarch like in https://www.archlinux.org/news/perl-library-path-change/ fixes it. But i didn't look into this.

PhCl, I am disowning the package. Please feel free to adopt and update it.

Hi, The checksum for the gcc51-compile.patch file fails. Specifically, the file hashes to 7f9815617cda7d6218ebb4e6181633c8c3a96074.
