Dear all - please kindly uninstall kipi-plugins, libkipi and libmediawiki-git, because they are defunct, deprecated, and not used or supported by any application.

KDE's Gwenview and Spectacle stopped supporting libkipi since KDE Gear release 22.04.0.

That's why Arch dropped this package in April 2022 to AUR, as from then on, no KDE Gear apps in their repo works with this library.

This needs to be updated to reflect changes in the names of the kde dependencies:

:: installing kwindowsystem5 (5.111.0-1) breaks dependency 'kwindowsystem' required by kvantum-git
:: installing kxmlgui5 (5.111.0-1) breaks dependency 'kxmlgui' required by libkipi
:: installing kservice5 (5.111.0-1) breaks dependency 'kservice' required by libkipi

They all now have 5 at the end of their name

I modificed the PKGBUILD and succesfully build kipi plugins and libkipi 22.12 but gwenviev doesnt show them

It has been a while since 9-r commented, now version 22.08.3 is available. It can be built by setting pgkver=22.08.3 and sha256sums=('8e837b86869e78ce1b7ecf60a661f0fc269543f8b7b3c968475afd844dfa3b86' 'SKIP') in the PKGBUILD. The SHA256 can be confirmed here: https://download.kde.org/stable/release-service/22.08.3/src/libkipi-22.08.3.tar.xz.mirrorlist

current version can be build by setting pkgver=22.08.1 in PKGBUILD

add the pgp key, after that it works fine for me!

Now it's 22.04.2. Though nothing in KDE actually uses this anymore.
