The current 66-sdrplay.rules is slightly outdated compared to upstream; I believe they added support for RSP1B devices in 3.12ish. Additionally, the new installer for libsdrplay now checks for the existence /etc/udev/hwdb.d/, and if the dir exists, installs a file in there. I have patches that I think take care of the first one for sure, and I think the second one, but I'm not sure of the etiquette/submission of patches here.

Thank you!

Hey, just wanted to point out. 3.xx does a lot of phishy crap to try and block hardware using miri chips in third party clone boards.

Its why i was in no rush to push 3.xx branch and was researching. -- best of luck.

Please install /etc/udev/rules.d/66-mirics.rules to another directory:
/usr/lib/udev/rules.d/66-mirics.rules.

Files in/etc/udev/rules.d/ are left to be created by users who want to override the defaults in /usr/lib/udev/rules.d/.

Regards and thanks for maintaining!

3.12 is now publicly available

EDIT: i think they've made a mistake with the package, missing files like the systemd service file.

EDIT2: no looks like the service file is now in their installer and they are cat'ing the file if it doesn't exist.

EDIT3: easiest thing to do was add 66-sdrplay.rules and sdrplay.service to the base folder and add them as sources. installed and working fine.

even though its not listed you can download the linux 3.11 api by changing the url version number, just need to change the pkgbuild from 66-mirics.rules to 66-sdrplay.rules

@totalsecond - Trouble is makepkg doesnt see libusb-git as "greater" than 1.0, as it sees the trailing version information as less than 1.0

EndlessEden,

There should be no conflict here considering that 'libusb' is provided by 'libusb-git' which is currently above version 1.0.

I don't see how this warrants any packaging updates. I may remove the version dependency on next upstream update or necessary repackaging.

Please remove libusb|>=1.0 requirement. it works fine with libusb-git and arch repo is libusb=1.0.4.2
