What works:

  • LightDM detects that there is a guest session available
  • Usage of other graphic packages (like lightdm-gtk-greeter-settings or lightdm-settings) to configure all settings related to LightDM

What does not works:

  • If you try to enter the guest session, it fails with "pam_unix(lightdm-autologin:auth): auth could not identify password for [guest-mdofl2]" and "am_unix(lightdm-autologin:auth): conversation failed" and returns you into the login screen, still trying to research into this on what is missing or what is different from Mint 19 (taking that distro as a reference since it now uses systemd)

You can try and install this package but unless indicated, expect bugs and a couple of issues while I try to stabilize and make this a functional package

ALSO, this lightdm package includes a couple of tweaks of my own ported from Manjaro/Antergos/Linuxmint to (try to) enable autologin and other things as well, so please refrain from comments like "please don't edit this files", "this should behave like upstream", "delete this services and this extras", etc. because I am trying to make this package as useful and user-friendly (if the possibilities allows it)
