@lauk: Unfortunately, this patch does not apply cleanly to the current 6.8.7 kernel.

@LinuxDonald: That patch series does not apply cleanly to the 6.6.y series. If you can provide me a version that does, I'll gladly put it in.

@jonloyola: Yes, you will definitely need to install dkms and let it compile the required nvidia modules for your graphics card if you are using this kernel, as the nvidia package for the repo kernels will not work with this one!

This obviously is not and issue for ppl with Intel and/or AMD chipsets.

The strange thing is that I have the keys imported into gpg but for some reason they failed in that part. Now, I don't have an issue with gpg. I did installed g14 kernel, but there were some issues with gui apps. For some reason, they were transparent. I guess I have to install nvidia drivers for a custom kernel since I'd assume g14 is a custom kernel. Thanks for the help! @Taijian and @debounced

@jonloyola: I see the same thing on a fresh install of EndeavourOS, this fixed it for me: gpg2 --locate-keys torvalds@kernel.org, https://www.kernel.org/signature.html

@jonloyola: That seems to be an issue with your gpg config.
