Det, I don't know if you're trolling or if you're really that stupid. Package maintenance is a time consuming and inconvenient task. We don't decide when upstream updates their software, but we can decide when to begin working on updating the package. The more random and frequent the updates, the more difficult the maintenance is.
Remember that Shivik is updating this package out of his own good will and self interest. Are you asserting that your personal interests are more important than his?

Which is of no use to me anyway,because I'll update regardless of the package
marked as out-of-date or not.
For me it is not a question of seeing if there's a new patchset,but if I can use my computer to do it.
Meaning: I update whenever I can.
And since when does that become a problem?

Keep in mind the time zone difference, meaning I may be sleeping when damentz releases a new patchset revision, so it will be a few hours sometimes.
