Thanks, fixed.

The package build failed today because the size of the md5sums array doesn't match that of the source array:

source=("git://lirc.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/lirc/lirc"
        lirc-0.10-build-fix.patch
        lirc.logrotate
        lirc.tmpfiles)
md5sums=('SKIP'
         'd80cd25aa263531f098d0b90bde08056'
         'c4f22d27402483d888b07b24ca781a9e'
         '3deb02604b37811d41816e9b4385fcc3'
         'febf25c154a7d36f01159e84f26c2d9a')

Removing the middle entry (c4f22d27402483d888b07b24ca781a9e) from md5sums fixed it.

@graysky, I haven't seen anything that would indicate that to be the case but I also haven't been able to look through the changes extensively. auto is the default setting for the devinput driver.

graysky commented on 2021-12-08 10:46 (UTC)

@sierratango - Have you looked though upstream changes to see if that is to be expected? If you believe it to be a bug, please report it upstream.

I have also noticed 100% CPU usage with the latest version (r3261.fc67ec65-1). The workaround for me was to set device = default in /etc/lirc/lirc_options.conf. It was set to auto before.

I do not see the issue in lirc-devinput 1:0.10.1-6 in the AUR or in lirc 1:0.10.1-8 in the official repository.

Hi, thanks for this package. I was wondering if the audio driver mentioned on the wiki page for LIRC which supports reception and transmission is still included? On running, I am told:

Driver `audio' not found or not loadable

Edit: building on another machine results in a functional audio driver. Looking at the build log, it seems the difference is BUILD_LIBPORTAUDIO-- perhaps portaudio should be included as a dependency?

Sorry, I can't find lirc from community. I'm New to Arch though (maybe my error)

graysky commented on 2020-03-29 06:44 (UTC)

You should report this upstream. Does lirc from [community] work or also hang @ 100%?

trelane commented on 2020-03-28 23:35 (UTC)

@graysky Yours is the only one working. Other gives error : Driver `devinput' not found or not loadable(wrong or missing -U/--plugindir?). Seems to be a known issue for year or more.

@trelane - It's a git build so there is the potential for breakage. You should report this upstream. Does lirc from [community] work or also hang @ 100%?
