Regarding the /etc/hosts issue. I may be wrong but I'm wondering if it's an issue with systemd resolved (which seems to be enabled by default these days). There's been numerous issues with regards /etc/hosts and systemd-resolved over it's lifetime. I have resolved disabled and Local works fine.

Can't access the sites. Checked /etc/hosts it is being updated but still cannot access them.

I've got the package installed, but I can't actually access the local site, I keep getting ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED. Does anyone know how to resolve? I confirmed that /etc/hosts is updated with the local IP.

I had many problems with ncurses5-compat-libs installing this, but I think I've manually overcome those now. However after apparently successfully installing this, I am now having trouble when creating a new site. For some reason, although in /etc/hosts there are automatically inserted the 127.0.0.1 and ::1 records for test.local and www.test.local on local site creation, when I attempt to open the site in the browser I get the ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED error in chrome. Any ideas what I should check?
