Also you could fetch the code from github instead of adding it as a .tar.gz. It's possible to fetch the latest version for the aur package version and to fetch code of the latest version.

Replace the first md5 (WTF why is md5 still supported in PKGBUILD?!?) with 5814d9ed34be0719cc71a7d90967bc16 for version 20.09

@digitalone sooo, now i've looked into the pkbuild.

it seems it's kservices5.desktop what i'm talking about. So you can help me if you want and exchange %u with %F or %U there.

@digitalone hmm, sorry for the confusion :D if i look at https://github.com/MediaArea/MediaInfo/blob/master/Project/GNU/GUI/mediainfo-gui.desktop it's not the same file i have in /usr/share/kservices5/ServiceMenus/ idk where this file comes from...

@digitalone I'm talking about the mediainfo-gui.desktop you mentioned before.

It provides a service/context entry for dolphin. It is installed in /usr/share/kservices5/ServiceMenus/, but can be overwritten in ~/.local/share/kservices5/ServiceMenus/ if it has the same name.
