@relrel,why? This PKGBUILDS downloads the nightly releases as they are on github.

All the other micro packages in the aur, except the "micro" one also point to the github. I think this makes sense because this is the url where the software is hosted and downloaded from. It's where you'd look to find out if you are on the newest version.

Aside from that the README is more informative than the website.

Please change url to https://micro-editor.github.io/.

I fixed the version problem for anyone having issues. See my repo here https://github.com/LevitatingBusinessMan/micro-nightly-bin-aur

There are quite a few more architectures available for the automatic binary build. Maybe they could be added to the script ? e.g. ARM aarch64

This package doesn't build anymore:

Respect, thanks for the super quick reply to the new nightly version. Report to resolution in 5 min :-)

I've adopted the pkg, and it can now be rebuilt anytime you want an update.

I am no longer going to maintain this package, so it is up for grabs.

Unsure if you want to use it, but I made a pkgbuild so this works like a '-git' package, meaning the user updates with 'makepkg' instead of you having to constantly update this.

I added some regex so it works with/without the '-dev' being in the version, so hopefully it doesn't get hung up on that.

Unfortunately the naming scheme has changed back to include the -dev. So this package is broken again. I'm opening an issue on Github to request that the developer be more consistent with the naming scheme so this doesn't continue to break.
