So this doesn't need -D b_lto=false like harfbuzz?

Martchus commented on 2021-10-22 20:42 (UTC)

Either gtkdocize needs to be added as dependency or documentation needs to be disabled:

Can't exec "gtkdocize": No such file or directory at /usr/share/autoconf/Autom4te/FileUtils.pm line 293.
autoreconf: error: gtkdocize failed with exit status: 2
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in prepare().

@pingplug what's the difference between these two packages? Then why is it mingw-w64-poppler worth mingw-w64-cairo depending on the package?

@safocl install mingw-w64-cairo-bootstrap in AUR

we found a cyclic relationship between mingw-w64-poppler and mingw-w64-cairo -- how to resolve it?

before this change:

mingw-w64-libpng was a mingw-w64-pixman depends, this seems wrong to me, I think the correct way is to add mingw-w64-libpng as cairo depends as I did in mingw-w64-cairo-bootstrap and as done in linux cairo package

This requires mingw-w64-libpng to be in depends; otherwise building packages that depend on mingw-w64-cairo such as mingw-w64-cairomm will fail in a clean chroot with mingw-w64-libpng missing.
