This seems to be several months out-of-date. It was updated to 2.19 back in early June.

Users of this package who haven't rebuilt it in a while might wish to do so. I've contributed three significant improvements to Minutor that are pretty useful:

  • Support for zooming with high resolution touchpad / scroll wheel
  • Support for scrolling depth slider with high resolution touchpad / scroll wheel
  • Zooming with a pointing device now zooms in and out on the cursor position, instead of the center of the view

Frequent rebuilds of this package make a lot of sense anyway, since support is added for new features of the world format. Note that the pkgrel of this package will probably not be bumped, as forcing users to rebuild a package without any changes to the PKGBUILD is considered a bad practice.

This seems to be broken with the 1.16 update.

@joliv: You were right, thanks for the comment.

Weirdly enough, I don't have libxkbcommon-x11 installed but I am not getting this error. The library in question is listed as an optional dependency to qt5-base. I am not sure if I should add it in the dependencies or not, since it appears to work without it. However, I have not updated my system in a couple of weeks and I can't update right now, so I will revisit this issue in a later day.

if you are getting this error upon starting minutor install libxkbcommon-x11 This application failed to start because it could not find or load the Qt platform plugin "xcb". Available platform plugins are: eglfs, kms, linuxfb, minimal, minimalegl, offscreen, xcb. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

I might have forgotten to actually update my local repo before trying it :P

Ehm. Using `git describe --tags | sed -E 's/([^-]*-g)/r\1/;s/-/./g'` (from the wiki), I get "2.0.1.r4.gdadf0ee" for the current version. Which works fine.

Sorry, "long" rather that "wrong".

I want to change the version scheme because this one is ridiculous wrong but the one in the wiki does not really work. For this package it would produce the version "1.6-46-g39aa58f" which I do not like since we are actually past version 2.0 How about just shortening the current version up to the date?
