Source protocol needs to be changed from git:// to git+https:// due to changes at github.com.

I use this for my live media generated with archiso. I boot a lot of virtual machines in parallel in a big VMware environment. As I do not like every machine to be named just 'arch' I rename it with this hook. When writing the hostname to /proc/sys/kernel/hostname it later gets overwritten by initscripts or systemd, no?

I figured you would just write $hostname to /proc/sys/kernel/hostname. Why the indirection? What's the point of the hook?

The copypaste thing had been fixed locally already... Updated it now. Setting the hostname works for me. Note that this only writes the hostname to /etc/hostname, you are out of luck with hostname from /etc/rc.conf atm.

This doesn't actually set the hostname... and you've got some copypasta errors in your install hook.
