remove Sudo please. It's not necessary and is a problem to build in a chroot. https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Arch_package_guidelines#Package_etiquette

No, it does not have monotonically increasing pkgver. Please kindly check again.

Example (gitrefs relative to as of now):

Commit for master~1 (662fb8a (2022-04-12)): pkgver=7.4.4.662fb8a

Commit for master~2 (87a08ee (2021-09-10)): pkgver=7.4.4.87a08ee

The older commit produces a higher value for pkgver.

@MarsSeed: This package already has a monotonically increasing pkgver

pkgver uses "$basever$(git rev-parse --short HEAD)" | (x.x.x)[major]{application version}.(XXXXXXX)[minor]{git commit}-(x)[pkgrel]

If your requesting the removal of the minor version (git commit), this will make identifying the exact version for debugging impossible. | this is the same pkgver() formula nearly all VCS packages use on the AUR.
