As mentioned by another commenter, the systemd service provided with this package has WantedBy=multi-user.target which does not exist for user instances, so the service will not auto-start. The correct target for those is default.target.

Correct. Last.fm changed their protocol and now require the password to be sent in plaintext (however via TLS), so the configuration needs to be updated. Also, this PKGBUILD is outdated, 0.4.4 is out since August 26 ;)

@soundtoxin Hash support for last.fm was dropped in v0.4.3

My mpdas doesn't work anymore. It complains about my config that didn't change at all. I rebooted for the first time in a 2-3 months, though. Any ideas? Also, if this is out of date, should I use the -git version, or is that in worse shape? Here is the error I get. After it failed to autostart with my user service I tried to start it manually and see what was up. https://b.doko.moe/aoochv.png edit: just confirmed mpdas-git doesn't work for me either. Was support for a hash instead of a password dropped or something?

@grawlinson I'm not sure why it can fail on start but autostart may fail 'cause multi-user.target is not part of user namespace of targets, and so it cannot be reached. Required to be replaced with default.target, since override [Install] section works weird.

I can't get the mpdas user service to autostart. Any ideas? EDIT: The user service consistently fails.
