Hello @mannp,

since isync is a mandatory dependency, there isn't any way to define alternatives, like "depend on either package-A or package-B". The correct way would be that isync-git "provides" isync, which it doesn't.

I left the maintainer a comment on the package's page.

That said, I'm not really sure about this package currently, since the maintainer themselves have flagged it as "out of date" nearly two years ago.

EDIT/ The maintainer already made the change. You should now be able to use isync-git as the isync dependency for mutt-wizard-git.

Thanks for the build. I wondered if there was a reason isync-git couldn't be an alternate dependency to isync especially in this mutt wizard git build?

I've incorporated this PR for the time being, until it's merged upstream.

The macro should be functional now.

EDIT It's now fixed upstream.

If you refer to this repo, then the latest commit was over a year ago. Luke moved the development to Github quite a while ago.

Or is there another (newer) one on Gitlab maybe ?

Hi @Kr1ss, I just realized that I was seeing the Gitlab page for this, not Github. The Gitlab page has a functional macro, the the Github version seems to be broken. Will submit an issue on Github

@taylor85345 thx for your comment. Since this is a -git package, it always builds the latest upstream trunk (master branch from the GitHub repository in this case).

If you have an older version, just rebuild the package, makepkg will pull the latest sources.

The package version which is displayed in the AUR interface just reflects the version at which the package was uploaded the last time. The actual pkgver of the built package is computed at build time.
