After recent update, package still has most of the issues described in my previous comment.

Clean chroot.

  • Also, please revise pkgver() to use format #.r#.g#, in accordance with VCS package guidelines.

  • Missing git in makedepends

  • Add other depends / makedepends to address errors:

Run-time dependency libhelium-1 found: NO (tried pkgconfig)

Did not find CMake 'cmake'
Found CMake: NO

notejot/meson.build:86:2: ERROR: Dependency "libbismuth-1" not found, tried pkgconfig and cmake

notejot/data/meson.build:58:0: ERROR: Automatic wrap-based subproject downloading is disabled

Rebuilding this after a recent system upgrade fails with the following error from meson:

Run-time dependency gtk4 found: NO (tried pkgconfig and cmake) meson.build:66:0: ERROR: Dependency "gtk4" not found

The error persists if I do a clean rebuild.

I don't know how to begin to research what is needed here; whether gtk4 is a new dependency or if meson should be fine with gtk3, as it has been up till now. I can find no pertinent issues at notejot's or meson's github pages. So I'm posting this here in case anyone else has more experience using meson than I do (That would be zero, beyond using PKGBUILD's that invoke it..) and thus might have more of a clue then I do.

For now, I will try replacing aur/notejot-git with aur/notejot.
