Maybe send him a friendly email at spacingcat3@outlook.com or hit him up on Insta to see what the deal is ------------- :) Should sort out the issue. Also has a Gmail but won't share it because it's in a leak ... xD Edit: I took out the insta but I would consider translating to Polish if you were to reach out.

Sorry to hear that. I can't imagine having so little to do that I would waste time trying to delete someone's work wrongfully. How embarrassing... The requester should be IP banned.

I have no problem maintaining this, honestly it's barely any effort at all. If you look to the top-right of this page under 'Package Actions', you can see 'Submit Request' and '1 pending request'. This was a deletion request. This person has made many such requests and many were auto-approved it seems, so this one might also. The request can also be seen here: https://lists.archlinux.org/archives/list/aur-requests@lists.archlinux.org/thread/N3T6OYNHG4FBNRXEJGZL6PE6VB2QEUTQ/

Honestly, I'm a bit surprised it hasn't been approved yet, that might be good news, but it's also not been declined...

"Someone has requested this package to be deleted"? Can you elaborate? This is my favorite version of Okular, which I'm sure is FOSS. If it's a will to no longer maintain the project, I will take the reigns if this drops off because it is essential to my daily work.

Just a heads-up: someone has requested this package to be deleted. So any update could be the last one. Get the PKGBUILD if you want to keep it locally.

Thank you for consistently keeping this updated.

The checksum is out of date again.

The reason seems to be that the git version on invent.kde.org has been upgraded from git 2.25.1 to 2.26.0 (changing the last line in the patch).

@frankspace Yes, confirmed. I don't know what happened, it worked fine before. The normal package (https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/okular/) has the same patch and signature and also fails. I'll file a bug there. This package will be fixed as soon as the original is fixed (if not before, but I do not yet know what to do).

EDIT Should be fixed now, thanks to the quick response by Antonio Rojas

The CVE-2020-9359.patch file is failing the validity check for me.

Sorry, I think I managed to debug my build issue. I installed gtkplatform once to try out Qt on Wayland through GTK, and it seems it causes issues with building QtQuick apps. After removing gtkplatform, Okular built just fine.
