xorg-font-utils no longer exists, could you update the dependencies?

You can skip the checksum, but using https in the URL wouldn't hurt.

I now SKIP the shasum entirely. The one given by arkoprovo1996 was also already obsolete when I tried it.

Please change sha256sums in PKGBUILD to 6d0b44226d2d0a64a99486720503baccc55275ae993dd177d13e41a445d2ccea

bitter.zip keeps failing its validity check for me (version 1.300-1).

Updated both.

What I meant by 'an OTF one' was otf-google-fonts-hg which is a DEFINITE conflict. Google fonts come in either flavor TTF or OTF. Dunno if it's usable on this AUR page or in any PKGBUILD but the real for sure source of origin upstream URL would be http://www.huertatipografica.com/fonts/bitter-ht

thiagowfx commented on 2014-04-28 01:06 (UTC)

Google fonts are TTF, I think I'll maintain the original upstream URL, otherwise I would have to create a new 'ttf-bitter' package. Albeit, here is a stub PKGBUILD using the google URL: http://pastebin.com/MbMiSEgY. Added the conflict, thanks.

Love it. PKGBUILD needs conflict with *google-fonts* pkgs, do a search in AUR, there are several including an OTF one. Maybe only need to conflict with the OTF. https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PKGBUILD#conflicts Here it Bitter font in Google. http://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Bitter
