Please change arch to 'any' or add 'armv6h' (raspberry pi), the binaries work find on this architecture also.

Recompiled today and got a compilation error on the "major" macro not being defined. This can be fixed by adding #include <sys sysmacros.h=""> to ow_arg.c</sys>

Just a minor thing: If you create a user in sysuser.conf a matching group will be created automatically. (man sysusers.d). So you can drop the second line in your sysuser.conf. Thanks for maintenance!

Version 3.2p1 is available and runs on my arm board. The owhttpd service file requires the user ow. So you might want do add a sysuser.conf file (e.g.): u ow - "1-Wire Filesystem"

The systemd unit included in this package runs OWFS in the background (the default), which sends logs via syslog. This results in some lost log information in journald, and logs not showing up in `systemctl status owfs` or `journalctl -u owfs` because they're received over syslog, not tied to the unit. Could you please add `--error_print=2` to the owfs command line, which will cause it to log to STDERR and therefore go through the journald system properly, as logs from a systemd unit? I think this would be quite helpful, especially for users who aren't as familiar with journald and don't realize that it doesn't associate syslog messages with the unit that sent them. Also, with the current unit file, the process dies right after startup. This is because owfs is forking to a background process, but systemd doesn't expect that so once the initial process goes away, systemd removes the cgroup. Either owfs needs to be run with the --foreground option or, pereferably, the [Service] section of the unit file needs to include Type=forking

After upgrading to the latest version a Python program I've written failed; t appears that the Python support is missing. On the configuration line swig is disabled and it is a prerequisite for Python. So, even though Python is enabled is doesn't get built. I rebuilt enabling it and everything worked fine.

Thank you iq2luc and mikep. I finally got time to merge your comments and bump the package.
