Oh, no, you are right. I forgot to push 1.9, but there 1.9.1 with a line changed, but the script I used with nvchecker checks the Changelog, and there it was not updated...

eniac: No, different issue this time (I forgot to push the update to 1.9 some days ago). The author of the script replied to me that he will try to always update the version when doing changes. The problem is that the upstream url to download the script doesn't contain the version and always points to the latest version, so while I update the PKGBUILD, installations will fail with a wrong hash instead of installing an old version.

Hash failed, guess they changed the file again without updating the version...

iyanmv: yeah that's weird, I had already successfully updated pdf-compress yesterday, then today I wanted to do the same on another pc and it failed, so it had to be an upstream change

eniac: Thanks for letting me know. The script was changed upstream but version was not increased. This is the diff:

31c31
<               [[ -n $ASCII_TEXT && -z $TEST && ! -t 0 ]] && logger -t "${THIS}[$$]" -- "$ASCII_TEXT"
---
>               [[ -n $ASCII_TEXT && -z $TEST && ! -t 0 ]] && logger -t "${THIS}[$$]" -p mail.notice -- "$ASCII_TEXT"

I have contacted the author of the script to avoid this in the future. For the moment, I will just replace the hash.

Wrong hash.

This script has served me well, too bad the package is now orphaned
