If the software fails to run, erroring at libgdiplus.so, I found that it does not run with libgdiplus 5.6.1-4, but works fine with version 5.6.1-3.

(Not sure if the cause is this being outdated or libgdiplus, but I'll post this here if someone needs to get this running at the moment)

(Also for debugging you can run this with tracebacks via mono /opt/picoscope/lib/PicoScope.GTK.exe)

EDIT: has been since corrected it seems.

Latest version available is 6.14.61-4r6219. The compatibles versions of all of the components can be obtained from the following file https://labs.picotech.com/debian/dists/picoscope/main/binary-amd64/Packages

Hi,

could you remove the MimeType=application/x-psdata;application/octet-stream line from picoscope.desktop? So that it doesn't associate with every single filetype the system knows off.

Thanks!

Did anyone else try getting Picoscope 7 to work? I would really like to use it, but it starts with an error message. Here is the link to the files https://labs.picotech.com/rc/picoscope7/debian/

Hi. Could you also add a package for libps6000a? Thanks.

@mruslan: The pico group did the trick. There should be an entry in the Wiki for this. Thank you!

@coldspark: also check if your user is in pico group

@mruslan: Yes, I have the 2204A model and I installed libps2000 and libps2000a. I don't know what is wrong with mono or whatever. The device is recognized by libusb, but Picoscope can't find it. MATLAB does also not recognize it. I read on PicoTech's website that you need to install libpswrappers for this. Installed the deb package and for that to work I had to install all libps versions, but still nothing works.

@coldspark: did you install drivers for your oscilloscope model? Driver packages are among optional dependencies of this package. What is wrong with mono? I think everything should be fine with current mono version.

It doesn't find my scope and downgrading mono from the archive gives me a PGP signature error. The package was from an unofficial archive on I realized that version 4.4.1.0-1 is not available on the official archive anymore. What can I do?
