For people who need this software, I'm sorry but there is nothing i can do to make it work without breaking your system, this version of poweriso for linux(which is the latest) is super outdated and the company behind this does not seem to be interested in updating this for linux, i recommend using another software like acetoneiso2/brasero/gnome-disk-utility to burn ISOs or view ISO contents, if you really need this software for some reason, you can use the flatpak version which works fine but I really don't recommend that because it's such an old software and it's far from reliable.

@zxp19821005 getting the same error. even downloading from their website and running the poweriso.sh file result in same error. this is with debug on and is more detailed and looks like it's possibly a glibc version error and its looking for 2.33. downgrading that package is bad idea because it breaks everything

hi , i do want this gui , not the commandline-Version! because, i don't live in the stone-time !!
I use Arch for years, but i have also Fedora , Debian-Testing, suse -Tw on external USB-Disk all with the same Environment: xfce and the same progs on all
This gui is running with Debian and Fedora This gui sucks on Arch and Suse
I cant see a difference , all do have qt-basics, and so on, but my skill is not good enough to fix this for Arch If u got the Skil, then fix ist, many People need this prog

qt.qpa.plugin: Could not find the Qt platform plugin "xcb" in "/usr/share/poweriso-gui" This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
Available platform plugins are: xcb (from /usr/share/poweriso-gui).

Most libs that are shipped are stable (abi) and can be replaced by system libs.
The only libs that are needed to be kept are Qt5 libs (libQt5*, libqxcb.so) and the ICU libs (libicu*).
I've done something similar with the Flathub package here.
I don't really understand the point of depending on qt5-base, it's not like it can be used by the app.
I recommend unsetting QT_QPA_PLATFORM or explicitly setting QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb in the wrapper, considering only the xcb platform is available.
Also, exec should be used to launch the app with the wrapper.
And there's no point in unsetting LD_LIBRARY_PATH after the app was exited, not to mention that if exec would've been used, unset would've never been reached.

If you really need poweriso, you can install this AUR package for the command line version (it is working perfectly): https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/poweriso
I hope that in future this GUI version will be updated by PowerISO Computing, Inc...

@miss_barfin Seems it's not compatible with Qt 5.15 as that's the error it's throwing once you set QT_DEBUG_PLUGINS=1 before running it.
