@MarsSeed Without xdelta wouldn't be able to handle archives containing the old 2.0 format, which is probably the reason for upstream, i.e. debian to have both xdelta and xdelta3 as dependency. Removing xdelta would require patching the code to remove format 2.0 support, which is out of scope of this AUR packaging.

Please kindly remove the dependency on the obsolete xdelta, last released in 2001.

Upstream's INSTALL instruction file has not been updated, but otherwise since release 1.39 (1 Jul 2017), pristine-tar prefers xdelta3. Also Makefile.PL no longer has the configuration option XDELTA_PROGRAM, since release 1.35.

Thank you in advance.

I updated to 1.38 I had to disable all Tizen patches, as upstream re-indented all code, breaking all patches. I also disown the package. Feel free to rewrite the patches for the whitespace changes.

Hello, the above source link is broken and there is only 1.33 in the ftp server. I can build with source from ubuntu archives server(http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/p/pristine-tar/pristine-tar_1.32.tar.gz) instead of above one.
