I feel like there's very little benefit to running regular "business logic" tests in
check()

Well, all official packages always run
check()

though? I mean, don't get me wrong, seems fine to add it, I have just never actually heard of anyone runningcheck()

Pretty good package but you should consider also running the tests in
check()
.
