Is there an advantage of using hunspell over aspell under Arch, and what advantage? Will this break things for people using this package?

We can discuss that as a GitHub issue, and you could contribute the change to https://github.com/pbek/QOwnNotes/blob/main/build-systems/aur/PKGBUILD.

Hello, thanks for maintaining this! I noticed that it can be built with hunspell instead of aspell. Their website has some information on this.

@pbek Please don't do this. Arch Linux global compiling option store in makepkg.conf Simple change to MAKEFLAGS="-j$(nproc)". Not need to do that to every pkg in AUR.
