Also gitorius doesn't exist anymore.

Nonnus, I finally was able to reproduce the problem. It was a missing dependency. Fixed.

ejona86, I am afraid that the build does still fail for me. Maybe you are right though that the warning I posted is not the cause. Further down in the logs, I get this as well:

make[3]: [Makefile:527: install-data-local] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory '/tmp/packerbuild-1000/quarry/quarry/src/quarry-0.3.0.1/help/de' make[2]: [Makefile:354: install-am] Error 2 make[2]: Leaving directory '/tmp/packerbuild-1000/quarry/quarry/src/quarry-0.3.0.1/help/de' make[1]: [Makefile:257: install-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory '/tmp/packerbuild-1000/quarry/quarry/src/quarry-0.3.0.1/help' make: [Makefile:271: install-recursive] Error 1

Nonnus, oh I see. Hmm... So that should just be a warning; it shouldn't stop the build. I get that on my build as well, but it is normally lost in the noise. And for the build we don't actually want that command to succeed (because it is either useless, or gets in our way).

ejona86, I really appreciate your quick response on this but I am still getting the following error:

make[4]: Entering directory '/tmp/packerbuild-1000/quarry/quarry/src/quarry-0.3.0.1/data' (update-mime-database /usr/share/mime \ || echo "WARNING failed to update the MIME database") I/O error : Permission denied I/O error : Permission denied Failed to write XML file; For permission problems, try rerunning as root *

Nonnus, should be working better now.

The stuff in post_remove() should be removed from quarry.install. I'll fix+test and push a new version, but it'll take a little bit.

At the moment, getting the following error:

make[4]: Entering directory '/tmp/packerbuild-1000/quarry/quarry/src/quarry-0.3.0.1/data' (update-mime-database /usr/share/mime \ || echo "WARNING failed to update the MIME database") I/O error : Permission denied I/O error : Permission denied Failed to write XML file; For permission problems, try rerunning as root

@joelsc, I fixed up the links and am now building from a GitHub mirror of the repo (since gitorious is dead). Although the source hasn't changed at all, it no longer built, so I hacked together a patch. Should all be working now.
