In case anyone is running into timeout issues when attempting to checkout the repo, you can increase the timeout duration inside $HOME/.subversion/servers, e.g.: 

[global]
http-timeout = 86400

Oh, no -- sorry for this, it has been a while since I've last updated something on AUR ... but I've just run namcap PKGBUILD and should be much better now.

Now build failed with the following error:

Thanks for marking the package out-of-date to bring my attention to this issue (I did not get notifications on the below comments, but the out-of-date flag fired an e-mail) -- I've just pushed an update, which should resolve the below mentioned problems.

makedepends should obviously include subversion

The url field may not be an array, i.e. the parenthesis must be removed.
