Something's out of date or otherwise broken on your end,
python-setuptools-git
is in makedepends.xiretza commented on 2023-05-14 13:46 (UTC)
Took a while because python packaging is a nightmare, sorry. Should be good to go now, make sure you have the latest python-cmake-build-extension-git.

@fobes: did you really just flag a -git package out of date and quoted in the flag message the text that tells you not to do that? That's honestly a first.
I think it should be pretty clear why I unflagged it.

@weirdbeard: please do not abuse the out-of-date flag for package bugs - when clicking "Flag package out-of-date", it explicitly tells you:
Anyway, your problem is probably that you forgot to rebuild python-cmake-build-extension-git for python 3.10.
There was also an actual build issue where setup.py tried to install setuptools-git, but that's a different error.
